Who We Are

EMPOWERR is a Hagerstown-founded student-led initiative dedicated to community empowerment, education, and sustainable development. Since 2020, we've raised significant funds, forged partnerships with leading corporations, and expanded our network to over 35 schools across MD, WV, and PA.

What Makes Us Different

EMPOWERR is the largest independent student-led organization in Washington County. We operate without oversight from schools, national networks, or parent organizations. Every initiative we launch is conceived, developed, and executed by students — from strategy to implementation.

This structure gives us the flexibility to respond directly to community needs and the freedom to pursue creative, grassroots solutions. Whether it's organizing a fundraiser, launching a service project, or building new partnerships, our ideas come from the students who live and learn in the communities we serve.
